About the Electrologist

Jacqueline Kowtko, PhD, is a Harvard graduate, California licensed electrologist (LE) and board certified professional electrologist (CPE).  CPE is an international designation available to electrologists that requires passing an advanced exam.  Maintaining it requires continuing education.

Jacqueline opened Chico Electrolysis Center in early 2008.  She has worked in the Monterey and San Francisco areas and demonstrated her skills on the east coast and abroad in the UK.  She has performed research and testing for projects relating to skin, hair and electrolysis.

Jacqueline is a member of the Chico Chamber of Commerce  and is on the Core Committee of the Women’s Business Exchange in Chico.  She has served as a board member of an electrologist association.  Her goals are to provide you with excellent service and the best treatment results, to help you look your best.
